Florida- Gov.Crist Signs bill to aid condo owners

Senate Bill 1196 has quite a few changes geared towards benefiting condo associations and it’s responsible owners. It gives condo associations the power to collect rent from tenants/renters of homeowners who lease their units in order to satisfy any unpaid fees. Associations will be able to suspend the use of recreational facilities if association fees are more than 90 days past due.
