1. Overview

HOAReview.com participates in affiliate marketing programs. This means we may earn a commission when you click on certain links on our site and complete a qualifying action such as signing up for a service, requesting a quote, or making a purchase. This disclosure is provided in compliance with the Federal Trade Commission's Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising, 16 CFR Part 255.

2. How Affiliate Relationships Work on HOAReview

Throughout the site, you may see content boxes labeled "Sponsored" or "Recommended for homeowners." These contain affiliate links to third-party services such as home insurance providers, home warranty companies, moving services, solar quote services, and home security companies. When you click one of these links and complete a qualifying action with the partner, we may receive a commission.

All affiliate links carry the HTML attributes rel="sponsored noopener nofollow" and pass through a server-side redirect endpoint that records click volume in aggregate. We do not store your raw IP address; only a salted hash is retained for analytics purposes.

3. Editorial Independence

Affiliate relationships do not influence any of the following:

  • HOA ratings, scores, or reviews displayed on our site
  • Search results, profile content, or HOA rankings
  • Editorial content of our guides, articles, and educational material
  • Which user-submitted reviews are moderated, approved, or rejected
  • Which publicly-sourced reviews are imported into HOAReview

Affiliate offers are displayed in clearly marked "Sponsored" sections, visually separated from review content and editorial content.

4. Current Affiliate Programs

HOAReview participates in affiliate programs with companies including (but not limited to): Lemonade, Policygenius, First American Home Warranty, Choice Home Warranty, Updater, HireAHelper, EnergySage, SimpliSafe, Ring (via Amazon Associates), and Better Mortgage. This list may change as we add or remove partners. We display only partners we have an active affiliate relationship with at the time of display.

5. What You Should Know as a Consumer

Clicking an affiliate link does not increase the price you pay. The commission we receive comes from the partner's marketing budget, not from you. You are under no obligation to use any affiliate link or to purchase any product or service shown.

We encourage you to comparison shop and verify any offer before signing up. Affiliate partners determine their own pricing, terms, and policies. HOAReview is not responsible for the terms, quality, or delivery of products or services offered by affiliate partners.
